In this session emphasis would be laid on synergy needed between Industry & Government in order to have proper regulatory systems and a healthy Capital Market. In this Session emphasis would be laid on opportunities & challenges to source capital by the way of ADRs, GDRs, ECBs and debt. Infrastructure Development-key driver for India Inc.
Critical Infrastructure development such as Roads, Highways, Power, Airports is crucial for the economic development of India . India has already embarked on the path of developing such Critical Infrastructure, but this requires massive requirements. And, the public sector alone can no longer fully finance the requirements. The lack of a clear policy frame work for private sector participation has hampered the badly-needed infrastructure development, particularly in power, roads and ports.. The Session would articulate salient features of Infrastructure development as the driver for India Inc and the need for Public-Private Partnership in ensuring this Development.
