The capital market has emerged as a major vehicle for converting savings into investment. It is also the preferred investment destination of foreign savings. Since the Govt. has permitted FIIs to submit appropriate collateral, in cash or otherwise, as prescribed by SEBI, when trading in derivatives on the domestic market. In this session emphasis would be laid on synergy needed between Industry & Government in order to have proper regulatory systems and a healthy Capital Market. In this Session emphasis would be laid on opportunities & challenges to source capital by the way of ADRs, GDRs, ECBs and debt.
